Charlotte is thrilled to be serving as Envision Resilience’s Community Engagement Manager after two years supporting the Challenge and its parent organization, Remain’s, communications and social media. Her responsibilities include initial outreach and relationship building with local stakeholders in Challenge locations, thoughtfully connecting academic teams with community partners and maintaining dialogues with Challenge communities well after the fall design studio semesters wrap up through public programming, exhibitions and other collaboration opportunities.

After graduating from Yale University in 2020 with a degree in American Studies and Sociolinguistics, Charlotte spent two years in New York City teaching grades six through eight at the Windward School, which serves students with dyslexia and other learning disabilities. She also spent a season in Berlin, speaking her second language, German, every day and focusing on her writing practice. Outside of work, Charlotte is currently pursuing a masters degree at Middlebury’s Bread Loaf School of English.
