Grant Opportunity for Envision Resilience Challenge Communities

Past Envision Resilience Challenge partners and stakeholders are invited to submit Letters of Interest to fund the “next steps” in climate action plans and projects, as part of our commitment to not only envision, but to champion, resilient futures in these communities.

Since 2020, the Envision Resilience Challenge has championed a regional, interdisciplinary climate response alongside community and university partners across Massachusetts, Rhode Island and Maine. In many cases, student research and designs can serve, and have served, as a catalyst in furthering city and town priorities in climate education, preparedness and planning. This grant is designed to support the continuation of the program outcomes in alignment with city and town, neighborhood or community planning priorities. Letters of Interest should include an introduction to the project team and idea; a budget; and an articulation of how additional funding will advance ideas conceptualized during the Envision Resilience Challenge program.
