The Envision Resilience Challenge, the signature program of Envision Resilience, is a design and research studio run in partnership with communities throughout the Northeast. The multi-university and interdisciplinary approach models the cross-sector and intergenerational collaboration needed to build resilient communities. Learn more about the work across Massachusetts, Maine and Rhode Island.
The National Design Studio Grant program supports graduate and undergraduate design studios across the country exploring adaptive solutions to climate change in their rural, urban or mid-sized communities. By supporting studio-based programming across diverse geographies, the program extends Envision Resilience’s educational model while empowering faculty to pursue climate solutions most relevant to their own communities and fields of study.
Next Step Community Grants aim to turn research and design ideas into action. Available to past Envision Resilience Challenge communities and partners, these grants support communities ready to advance design research, analysis and proposed ideas.
