COMMUNITY ‘NEXT STEP’ GRANTS FOR
ENVISION RESILIENCE CHALLENGE PARTNERS

Since 2021, the Envision Resilience Challenge has run programming in Nantucket, MA; Narragansett Bay, RI; New Bedford and Fairhaven, MA; Portland and South Portland, ME; and Bath and Harpswell, ME. 

Envision Resilience is seeking Letters of Interest from past partners and stakeholders from Envision Resilience Challenge communities as part of our commitment to not only envision, but to champion, resilient futures in these communities. 

Who Should Apply

  • Funding is available to past partners and stakeholders from Envision Resilience Challenge communities. 

  • We are looking for examples of where student research, mapping or design solutions; or a program outcome has catalyzed forward momentum in your work and could benefit from additional grant funding. 

  • Grant requests should be tied to a specific project, with measurable outcomes. 

  • Envision Resilience is accepting letters of intent on a rolling basis. Applicants will be contacted within 30 days of the submission

Examples of acceptable funding uses, among others, are: 

  • Feasibility Study 

  • Technical Assistance 

  • Renderings / Reports for Grants

  • Construction Documents

  • Education / Awareness

  • Community Engagement 

  • Matching Funding for other grant opportunities
