NEXT STEP COMMUNITY GRANTS FOR
ENVISION RESILIENCE CHALLENGE PARTNERS
Since 2020, the Envision Resilience Challenge has run programming in Nantucket, MA; Narragansett Bay, RI; New Bedford and Fairhaven, MA; Portland and South Portland, ME; and Bath and Harpswell, ME. Envision Resilience is seeking Letters of Interest from past partners and stakeholders from Envision Resilience Challenge communities as part of its commitment to not only envision, but to champion, resilient futures in these cities and towns.
Funding is available to support "next step" opportunities in town and city projects related to climate, adaptation, planning and resilience. Letters should address how participation in the challenge (such as student research, mapping or design solutions; or a program outcome, or idea) could benefit from additional grant funding to further catalyze your work.
Eligibility & Grant Criteria
Letters of Interest are accepted on a rolling basis. Applicants will be contacted within 30 days of the submission.
Funding is available to past partners and stakeholders from Envision Resilience Challenge communities.
Grant requests should be tied to a specific project, with measurable outcomes.
Priority will be given to projects led by municipal and 501(c)(3) organizations, but other types of nonprofit or charitable entities may apply.
